The Hope and Sesame® team partnered with professional baristas to create a coffee-friendly sesamemilk variety for baristas and at-home coffee connoisseurs that performs like a dream and provides uniquely high nutrition benefits. The Barista Blend delivers significant protein (4 grams per serving) and is also an excellent source of Vitamin D and calcium. Plus, it is Certified by the Plant Based Food Association, Non-GMO Project Verified, Vegan, Certified Kosher, and Certified Gluten Free, which is shown transparently throughout the carton with individual certifications. The carton also features a rainbow ombre, symbolic of the brand’s value of representation.
The Hope and Sesame® Barista Blend also attacks the sustainability challenges faced by the coffee industry on multiple fronts. First, it uses upcycled ingredients from sesame oil production as the primary ingredient source. Plus, sesamemilk has the lowest water usage in the entire growth and production process compared to other plant milks. Finally, sesame itself is bee-friendly (since sesame is self-pollinating, it bolsters the declining populations of bees), soil-friendly (sesame can be grown with little to no fertilizer and can contribute nitrogen back to soil), and is naturally pest-resistant meaning it really is ‘planet friendly.’
