It's simple to operate: Select the amount you'd like to brew, start, and the BetterBrew™ precision brewing gets to work, controlling water temperature (SCA-specified 197.6 to 204.8°F) and brewing time. The RainMaker™ shower head distributes water evenly over coffee grounds for optimal flavor extraction, no matter how much coffee you choose to brew.
The double-wall, vacuum-insulated thermal carafe keeps coffee hot, and the brew-through, pour-through lid means you don't have to fuss with turning or opening the carafe lid before pouring. The drip-free valve even lets you sneak a cup from the carafe without interrupting the brewing process.
With a compact design that won’t take up precious countertop space and sleek, stainless steel construction, this Coffee Maker is made to work with any décor. The convenient cleaning mode helps you keep the machine in tip-top shape, with the clean button lighting up every 90 cycles as a reminder.
The OXO team partnered with baristas, roasters, and other industry experts to test prototypes of the machine, incorporating their feedback on brewing cycles and the single-serve accessory insert shape. These partners played a critical role in ensuring optimized performance, coffee flavor, and product usability.
To meet the SCA's strict standards, OXO engineers recreated the SCA lab at OXO headquarters to replicate the rigorous testing protocol, ensuring consistent results before bringing the Coffee Maker to the consumer market.
