QuantumPak announces it’s new Q800CG Gas Flush Sealer with integrated scale and labeler. This system allows roasters to reduce labor and to automatically print and apply a label during the filling and gas flush sealing process. This ensures the bag is labeled with the correct date, batch number and barcode.

Previously, roasters had two choices when it came to placing a bar code on to their bags; they could either have the bar code preprinted on the bag by the bag manufacturer which then requires different bags for every single roast or hand place a label on the bag after filling, which is slow, does not allow for good label adhesion and is labor intensive.
QuantumPak has solved this problem by integrating a print and apply labeler directly into the bag filling and bag sealing process. Now one operator can fill, label, gas flush and seal the bags with no slow down in production while providing the information unique to that roast and production date in a high quality label that is created and printed while that unique bag is being filled.
