World Centric Plant-Based Fiber Scoops
World Centric 35 ccFiber Scoop is perfect for ground coffee, powders, and supplements. The fiber scoop is made from renewable plant fibers like bamboo, sugarcane bagasse, and wheat straw, not plastic. Traditional plastic scoops inside product jars are not recyclable due to their small size. Fiberscoops have the potential to replace these and have a big impact on plastic waste in the environment. World Centric offers a wide range of innovative packaging to meet these evolving consumer preferences and food service needs – maximizing sustainability throughout each product. At the beginning of life, the packaging is created with less energy and carbon emissions, using plant-based materials sourced sustainably and eliminating harmful chemicals. Products like the fiber scoop are durable and perform well for a positive consumer experience. Once used, they can be commercially composted, but even if they enter other waste streams, their make-up creates less harm than plastic or styrofoam alternatives. In addition to its commitment to sustainable innovation, World Centric gives 25% of net profits from the sale of its products to global grassroots social and environmental projects that have a significant positive impact in providing basic needs for their communities and the environment. In 2023, World Centric provided 30 grants to 20 non-profits and has donated over $17 Million to date.
